Quickie. If the UK leaves the EU the border between Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland must, must, must stay open. It’s a geographical exception any way so shouldn’t take too much negotiating. If by some perverse reasoning the border did officially tighten post Brexit I hope the authorities on the ground would simply ignore the edicts from Brussels and London.
